As you deck the halls with boughs of holly and brave the holiday crowds (and Internet), please consider giving a year-end donation to Pasadena Community Orchestra. If you have already done so, many thanks. With the combined enthusiasm and support of our musicians, our board of directors, and YOU, our faithful patrons, we are able to continue to bring free concerts to the public.
At the same time, our operating expenses – rent of the concert hall, insurance, among others – continue to rise. This year, we were able to realize our dream of running KUSC ads thanks to the Michael J. Connell Foundation and we need your help in order to continue. Do listen for the ads, they are wonderful! Tax-deductible donations can be made online on our website or mailed to us at PO Box 92917, Pasadena, CA 91109.
PCO has a wonderful line-up of concerts for the coming season as we continue working with our wonderful conductor, Bethany Pflueger. Maria Casale will be playing Handel’s Harp Concerto at our next concert, January 30, at First Church of the Nazarene, Pasadena. And our Fourth Annual Chamber Music Gala will take place Sunday, March 1, from 2-5 p.m. It will feature Bethany Pflueger, a Grammy award winning flutist in her own right, and Dr. Lucy Nargizyan, pianist from the Elixir Trio. Watch for details.
If you have any friends who want to be on our email list, please drop a note to publicity@pcomusic.org and you will be added to our list.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
