The Pasadena Community Orchestra held a Chamber Music Gala Fundraiser on October 2 at which we celebrated our 40th anniversary. We were honored to share this occasion with the Orchestra’s founder Wayne Reinecke. Such a joy to continue the vision that he had in 1983 for a community orchestra that would perform always-free concerts. As part of the celebration, we enjoyed a large cake that featured the PCO logo that we use on our concert programs and on the website.
We were treated to a wonderful recital of music for two harps, played by Ellie Choate and Paul Baker. You can view a sample video of their exquisite playing on a warm Sunday afternoon.
