The Pasadena Community Orchestra is excited to bring you their first live concert since January 2020. The concert will be held in the Auditorium of Pasadena High School. As with all our concerts, it will be free of charge – no tickets required! We will perform as four separate groups of instruments: brass, woodwinds, percussion and strings. There will be a brief intermission between each group.
R. Strauss Fanfare for the Vienna Philharmonic
McCarter Prelude and Excursions for brass
Rondeau Little Brass Symphony
Gounod Petite Symphonie for woodwinds
Kraft Trio for percussion
Rhuling Primness from “Primetime”
Britten Simple Symphony for strings
We want the concert experience to be enjoyable and safe for all attendees, and we are still in the Covid-19 era. So, along with many other arts organizations, we are requiring proof of full vaccination for entry, and wearing of a face mask while in the Auditorium. Free parking is available on the north side of Sierra Madre Blvd, just west of the junction with Washington Blvd. The Auditorium faces south, and is immediately adjacent to the parking lot. We hope to see you there!
Video recordings of most of the works performed are now available on our YouTube channel.
