The Orchestra’s 42nd season continues on Friday, March 14 at the beautiful First Church of the Nazarene of Pasadena. Our concerts are always free admission, and there is plenty of free parking. Pre-Concert discussion at 7:15pm; Concert begins at 8:00pm.

Julia Perry (1924-1979) pictured above, was a American classical composer and teacher who combined European classical and neo-classical training with her African-American heritage. Trained at the Juilliard School, her compositions include three operas, 14 choral works, 12 symphonies, many vocal works, and several chamber works for eclectic instrumental combinations.
